LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Stainless Steel Sinks

ZOMODO Canada hereafter referred to as ZOMODO, warrants its stainless-steel sinks to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential usage for as long as the original consumer owns their home. All other components carry ZOMODO’s one (1) year limited warranty unless otherwise specified. Gloss reduction, scratching, staining and acid or alkaline etching of the finish over time due to use, cleaning practices or water or atmospheric conditions, are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear. This warranty applies only to ZOMODO products purchased and installed in Canada.

ZOMODO will, at its election, repair, replace, or make appropriate adjustment where ZOMODO inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage. Damage caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty. Improper care and cleaning will void the warranty.* Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to ZOMODO with all warranty claims. ZOMODO is not responsible for removal, installation, labor charges, or other incidental or consequential costs. In no event shall the liability of ZOMODO exceed the purchase price of the product. All transportation costs to and from the point of purchase will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Any sink returned must be in the original packaging and include all the accompanying accessories, parts and documentation.

If this product is used commercially or used outside of Canada, ZOMODO warrants the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase, with all other terms of this warranty applying except duration.

* Never use cleaners containing abrasive cleansers, ammonia, bleach, acids, waxes, alcohol, solvents not recommended for ZOMODO sinks. This will void the warranty. See Product Care recommendations at zomodo.ca/productcare.

PearArc Coloured Stainless Steel Sinks

ZOMODO’s standard stainless steel sink warranty (above) applies to the PearlArc Collection with the following exclusions: Dulling of the PearlArc colour polish or resin coating, scratching, staining and acid or alkaline etching of the finish over time due to use, cleaning practices or prolonged hard water exposure are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear.

 

Stainless Steel Faucets

ZOMODO warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential usage for as long as the original consumer owns their home. If the faucet should leak or drip during normal usage, ZOMODO will, free of charge, mail the cartridge, washer, or hose necessary to put the faucet in working condition. This warranty applies only to ZOMODO faucets purchased and installed in Canada.

ZOMODO also warrants all other aspects of the faucet or accessories and finishes* to be free of defects during normal residential use for as long as the original consumer owns their home. ZOMODO will, at its election, repair, replace, or make appropriate adjustment where ZOMODO inspection discloses any such defect. Damage caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty. Improper care and cleaning will void the warranty**. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must be provided to ZOMODO with all warranty claims. ZOMODO is not responsible for removal, installation, labor charges, or other incidental or consequential costs. In no event shall the liability of ZOMODO exceed the purchase price of the faucet.

If the faucet is used in public space, for commercial, industrial, or institutional purposes, or is installed outside of Canada, ZOMODO warrants the faucet to be free from defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

When used in a leased or rented residential single or multi-family unit, including duplexes, townhomes, condominiums, and apartments, ZOMODO warrants the faucet to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years to the original consumer who owns the property but does not live there. Excluded are installations in public, industrial, or for any business purpose, such as hospitality or healthcare, which would be considered commercial use, referenced above.

Accessories 

ZOMODO warrants its stainless-steel colanders and drainer trays to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential usage for as long as the original consumer owns their home.  All other accessories carry ZOMODO’s one (1) year limited warranty unless otherwise specified. Gloss reduction, scratching, staining and acid or alkaline etching of the finish over time due to use, cleaning practices or water or atmospheric conditions, are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear. This warranty applies only to ZOMODO products purchased and installed in Canada.

Soap Dispensers

ZOMODO warrants its stainless-steel soap dispensers’ body and nozzle to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential usage for as long as the original consumer owns their home. The plastic pump system and bottle are warrantied for a period of five (5) years or 30,000 cycles from the date of purchase. ZOMODO does not warranty against regular wear and tear, or misuse of the soap dispenser including scratching or chipping of the outer finish or dispensing of high viscous and non-soap liquids.

Claim Procedure

For warranty claims, please contact ZOMODO Canada either through your Dealer, Plumbing Contractor, Distributor, Authorized Zomodo Agent or by emailing ZOMODO Canada at warranty@zomodo.ca.

Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim and include the following information:

  1. Complete description of the problem
  2. Photo and/or Video of the problem
  3. Product model number, colour and Finish
  4. Date the product was purchased
  5. Original sales receipt for proof of purchase

RGA – Return Policy Terms and Conditions

A completed RGA must be submitted to customerservice@zomodo.ca. Approval of RGA’s for credit, are based on the following terms and conditions.

  1. Product returns will only be considered within ninety (90) days of purchase from the date indicated on the corresponding invoice and will ONLY be accepted from the original purchaser.
  2. Zomodo Canada’s inspection team shall determine, at its sole discretion, whether returned products are eligible for credit authorization. Product deemed unacceptable for return shall be returned, without credit, back to the initiating distributor’s location at their expense.
  3. All returns for credit must be in the original packaging, nested and secured as per manufacturer’s original packaging position. All included parts, accessories, instructions must be included and attached/packaged as per original state ie. Sink models MUST have the drain kit(s) inversely screwed tightly to the bottom of the sink. Failure to tighten the drain kit will cause it to move around in the box during shipping and will cause damage (scratches, dents) to the sink which will lead to the sink being rejected.
  4. Product arriving back to the warehouse for return, must be packaged in the original manufacturer’s packaging and box. There must be no damage, dents, holes or excessive markings on the outer box and must be in resalable condition.
  5. All returned product approved for credit shall be subject to a 20% non-negotiable restocking fee.
  6. Approved credit note for the returned product shall be subjected to the restocking fee and any other fees, early payment deductions, etc. as indicated on original invoice and may take up to 14 business days for issue.
  7. Shipping of products back to Zomodo Canada for credit, is at the client’s sole expense. Client also accepts to take full responsibility of any damage to product for return by the transport/courier service of choice by the client. Déccor and Zomodo Canada are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages. It is strongly recommended that packages deemed for return are insured and include a shipment tracking number. Zomodo Canada has the right to refuse all non-authorized freight collect shipments on returned items.
  8. Product returns are to be shipped to: Zomodo Canada, 16-124 Connie Cres., Concord, ON L4K 1L7
  9. Returns arriving to the warehouse address stated above will NOT be accepted without Déccor’s approval and MUST have a Credit Note (CN) and/or Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#) attached. A CN and RGA# are valid for 30 business days after issue and must be received at Zomodo Canada within those 30 days.

Original Customer Obligation

The original dated sales receipt must be retained by the customer and is the only acceptable proof of purchase. Proof must be provided that a licensed plumber or contractor has installed the sink or faucet.  No employee, agent or other person is authorized to provide any warranty on behalf of ZOMODO for a ZOMODO product that is in addition to or different from the warranty stated above unless the warranty has been previously approved by ZOMODO.
